This offer includes an electronics plan provided by our partner Consumer Priority Service, also called CPS. The Preferred Electronics Protection Plan covers home electronics repair or replacement costs, up to $2,500 per incident and up to $5,000 annually, for qualifying products that fail due to manufacturer's defects and normal wear and tear. Excluding televisions, the plan also covers failures due to accidental damage. Pre-existing conditions and damage caused by electric surges are not covered. We've partnered with CPS, a leader in extended electronic warranties to provide you with CPS's coverage for mobile phones, computers, gaming equipment, televisions, and other entertainment products. It even covers smart home products, like Amazon Echo and Google Nest, and wearable fitness trackers. Your CPS coverage becomes effective on the 31st day after enrollment. After that, if one of these items breaks down or is damaged accidentally, you can call CPS any time schedule a repair. There is a standard service charge of $49 for most items. Smartphones have a service charge of $89, and $125 for devices valued at $750 or more. CPS will provide you with a free shipping label to mail the item to their service center. If mailing the item is not possible, CPS will arrange for a service provider to come to your home to make the repair. If the item can't be repaired, CPS will send you a check for the current replacement value of a comparably featured model of like kind and quality less shippinging and taxes.
