Oncourse Home Solutions is one of the nation's leading providers of optional protection programs. Oncourse's programs provide peace of mind for customers by helping protect them from the costs associated with unexpected repairs. Oncourse Home Solutions' plans are administered by American Water Resources, LLC. It's all one team, working together to protect your home.
Select the plan and follow the simple enrollment form, or you can call us at (833) 367-9544.
You can sign up and pay monthly or annually with convenient options like a checking or bank account (ACH), or a credit card (VISA or MasterCard). ACH is our preferred payment method, as it provides the most reliable way to maintain continuous coverage by reducing the possibility of payment failures.
Your enrollment begins the day Oncourse processes your enrollment, which is the enrollment date on your welcome letter. Your protection and ability to make a claim begin 30 days after the enrollment date. The first year of coverage includes a 30-day waiting period and 11 months of coverage.
The Protection Program and price are for a 12-month term that will automatically renew each year for an additional one-year term. You can cancel at any time.
If you have a covered service line problem, call OHS at 1-833-367-9544, or submit your service claim online; do not call your own contractor. OHS is available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to take your call.
Individual policies vary, but standard homeowners' insurance policies typically do NOT cover water line, sewer line or gas line repairs or replacement. Review your homeowners' insurance policy for additional information.
If you decide you no longer want to maintain your protection with us, there are multiple ways for you to cancel it.
By phone: This is typically the easiest and fastest way to cancel your program(s). You can call (833) 367-9544 any time, day or night, and select the option to cancel your protection. When you are connected to one of our agents, tell them that you wish to cancel your protection. The agent will ask you some questions to verify your account information and will be able to assist you with the cancellation.
Online chat: To initiate an online chat with one of our agents, click on the Chat prompt on the right edge of one of our website pages. Select "Billing Question" as the nature of your inquiry and click Submit, then let the agent know you would like to cancel your coverage. (Or, if prompted, please enter your name and "Cancel coverage" as the reason for your chat.) The agent will assist you from there.
After your protection cancellation request is processed, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current monthly Oncourse Home Solutions billing cycle. Until that date, your protection will remain active and you will be eligible to make a claim if needed.
The Water Line Protection Program covers up to $12,500 per occurrence for one of our independent contractors to repair leaks or breaks to your outside water line caused by normal wear and usage, and to refill, rake and reseed areas outside your home that were excavated to access your water line. If a necessary repair requires a public sidewalk or road to be opened to access your water line, we will pay a separate limit of up to $12,500 per occurrence to cut, excavate and repair the same section of public sidewalk or road.
The Sewer Line Protection Program covers up to $12,500 per occurrence for one of our independent contractors to repair a leak, break, clog or blockage in your outside sewer line caused by normal wear and usage, and to refill, rake and reseed areas outside your home that were excavated to access your sewer line. If a necessary repair requires a public sidewalk or road to be opened to access your sewer line, we will pay a separate limit of up to $12,500 per occurrence to cut, excavate and repair the same section of public sidewalk or road. Coverage begins 30 days after your enrollment and pre-existing conditions are not covered. There are no service fees.
With the Water Line and Sewer Line Protection Programs, if your home becomes uninhabitable due to a covered issue, the plan also includes up to $1,500 for reasonable hotel accommodations and up to $500 for boarding of house pets if authorized in advance.
The Gas Line Protection Program covers up to $3,500 per occurrence for one of our independent contractors to repair leaks caused by normal wear and usage or defects in workmanship and/or materials to your home's exposed interior gas line, the shut-off valve at each gas appliance and any flexible connector that attaches the appliance to the shut-off valve. You may receive a reimbursement of up to $500 annually for professional restoration costs such as painting, drywall, filling in holes or landscape restoration that is necessitated by a covered repair. Protection begins immediately after we process your enrollment. The plan includes an annual inspection of the interior exposed piping, appliance connectors, and shut-off valves, which can be scheduled upon your request.
If you suspect a gas leak, immediately vacate your home and contact 911 or your gas utility from a safe distance. As soon as your gas utility confirms a leak and shuts off your gas supply and your coverage is active, contact us to send one of our independent contractors to your home to perform covered repairs on your exposed interior gas line under the program. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
