For covered items damaged by a power surge, you can request reimbursement for a replacement item. If the product cannot be repaired and the damage is not the result of a power surge, CPS will send a check for the current replacement value of the customer’s product (less shipping/tax). The reimbursement will be based on a comparable-feature model of like kind and quality. Once a product replacement is provided, the original product is no longer covered.)
