Gas line leaks can quickly turn from a slight nuisance to a crisis, leaving you without heat, hot water, or a way to cook. These gas lines connected to your appliances may fail due to normal wear or defects, often not covered by standard home insurance. If there's a leak, you'll likely be responsible for repairs after the utility shuts off the gas. This can mean significant disruption for things like:
Valves
Pressure testing
Connectors to gas appliances
Unexpected repairs can be both daunting and costly. Our Gas Line Protection Program protects you from these unexpected costs. See above for what we cover.

Oncourse Home Solutions is one of the nation's leading providers of optional protection programs. Oncourse's programs provide peace of mind for customers by helping protect them from the costs associated with unexpected repairs. Oncourse Home Solutions' plans are administered by American Water Resources, LLC. It's all one team, working together to protect your home.
It's a program that provides peace of mind from unexpected exposed interior gas line repairs and is economical to fit within your budget. The program provides protection for repairs of leaks in the exposed interior natural gas pipes running through your house as well as the flexible connectors and shut off valves at each gas appliance due to normal wear or defects in workmanship or materials. There are absolutely no service fees, and no 30-day waiting period! As always, OHS will only dispatch pre-qualified licensed and insured contractors to complete your interior gas line repairs. This will ensure quality service and workmanship and allows you to avoid the hassle of finding a qualified contractor on your own.
Select the plan and follow the simple enrollment form, or you can call us at (855) 800-5195.
Your enrollment begins the day Oncourse processes your enrollment, which is the enrollment date on your welcome letter. Your protection and ability to make a claim begin 30 days after the enrollment date. The first year of coverage includes a 30-day waiting period and 11 months of coverage.
You can sign up and pay monthly or annually with convenient options like a checking or bank account (ACH), or a credit card (VISA or MasterCard). ACH is our preferred payment method, as it provides the most reliable way to maintain continuous coverage by reducing the possibility of payment failures.
The Protection Program and price are for a 12-month term that will automatically renew each year for an additional one-year term. You can cancel at any time.
If you cancel your protection within the first 30 days after your new program enrollment was processed, you will be entitled to a full refund of all program fees you have paid. This refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.
For all other customers:
If you are paying monthly for your protection, your program cancellation will take effect at the end of your monthly billing cycle and you will not receive money back. Protection under your contract will continue through the end of your monthly billing cycle, regardless of when you cancel within the cycle.
If you are paying annually for your protection, your program cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing month within your annual term, and you will receive a refund for the remainder of your annual term. Your refund will be credited to the same payment method you used to make your annual payment.
If you decide you no longer want to maintain your protection with us, you can call (855) 800-5195 any time. When you are connected to one of our agents, tell them that you wish to cancel your protection. The agent will ask you some questions to verify your account information and will be able to assist you with the cancellation.
After your protection cancellation request is processed, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current monthly Oncourse Home Solutions billing cycle. Until that date, your protection will remain active and you will be eligible to make a claim if needed.
The Gas Line Protection Program covers up to $3,500 per occurrence for one of our independent contractors to repair leaks caused by normal wear and usage or defects in workmanship and/or materials to your home's exposed interior gas line, the shut-off valve at each gas appliance and any flexible connector that attaches the appliance to the shut-off valve. You may receive a reimbursement of up to $500 annually for professional restoration costs such as painting, drywall, filling in holes or landscape restoration that is necessitated by a covered repair. Protection begins immediately after we process your enrollment. The plan includes an annual inspection of the interior exposed piping, appliance connectors, and shut-off valves, which can be scheduled upon your request.
If you suspect a gas leak, immediately vacate your home and contact 911 or your gas utility from a safe distance. As soon as your gas utility confirms a leak and shuts off your gas supply and your coverage is active, contact us to send one of our independent contractors to your home to perform covered repairs on your exposed interior gas line under the program.
