The plan is an affordable way to safeguard your home’s refrigerator and range — two of your most essential kitchen appliances. If either of these units stops working due to a mechanical failure, or breaks down due to normal use, simply give us a call. We’ll contact a service professional from our network, someone who will come to your home and make things right. For a full list of covered repairs, please refer to our Customer Agreement.
Standard homeowners insurance typically does not cover repairs for your home’s appliances, which means you’re responsible for maintenance and fixes. By enrolling in the Kitchen Essentials Plan, you gain protection that exceeds what standard homeowners insurance typically provides.
Your home’s refrigerator and cooking range are two of the most used and vital appliances in your home. If either one stops working, your family’s routine and rhythm can be completely thrown off. Repairs can be costly, but Columbia Service Partners™* helps cover those unexpected expenses. We handle the entire process, including finding a contractor for the repairs, making it hassle-free for you.

The Kitchen Essentials Plan covers one refrigerator, and one range or wall oven/cooktop. If the refrigerator has an integrated freezer, icemaker, and ice and/or water dispenser, they are included in the coverage. Limitations and exclusions apply; see the Customer Agreement for details.
Your protection begins 30 days after your enrollment is processed. You’ll find detailed information in the welcome packet you receive upon enrollment.
The Kitchen Essentials Plan includes up to $400 per incident, up to a combined total of $2,000 per year, for covered repairs and/or reimbursement toward replacement of one refrigerator and/or one range (or wall oven/cooktop).
